The KUBOTA brand offers many mini-excavator models. They are characterized by easy operation, comfortable cabins and exceptional strenght. The machines of this company also fit in with all strict hardware standards. In 2013, the brand released a new generation mini excavator – KX-04. Among the older models, Kubota KX016-4, KX36-3 and KX41-3V are very popular.
Kubota KX016-4
Kubota’s new KX016-4 mini excavator raises the standard in the 1.5-2.0 tonne category. This is because of a powerful digging force and a wider working range that rival higher-end excavators. And with enhanced accessibility to sites such as roadsides or residential areas, the KX016-4 gets the jobs done easier from large construction areas to the tightest of places.
It is a high-power excavator that meets almost all the requirements of a modern machine. It has impressive digging power and a well-balanced arm and bucket. The cab is very comfortable for the operator and easy to use. The control panel is located in the upper right corner for better functionality and visibility. Warning lights display code numbers e.g. in cases of danger of overheating. Easier access, simpler settings, easy-to-read indicators and notifications allow you to constantly monitor the status of the excavator.
In addition, the excavator has extendable tracks – the track expands from 990 mm to 1240 mm in couple seconds. This function guarantees the stability of the mini excavator during side work. The excavation depth is 2250 mm and the lifting height 3360 mm. The KX016-4 is powered by Kubota’s impressive D782 13 PS engine. Engineered with the power to maximise digging and lifting performance, it also delivers minimised noise and vibration, meeting all current engine emission regulations. For increased reliability when performing in hazardous conditions, including demolition jobs when a breaker is fitted, the boom cylinder has been positioned on the topside of the boom to prevent cylinder damage.
